Serena Adams, Surfing Australia Master Coach and Surf Getaways Co-Founder, brings decades of surf knowledge and a proven system that has helped thousands of women gain confidence in the water. Serena’s coaching is practical, structured and encouraging—designed to meet you where you are, whether you’re catching your very first wave or working on style and technique.
Joining Serena is Lou Tiernan, a much-loved figure in the Lennox Head surf community and proof that surfing is about spirit, not age. In 2025, Lou went from a wildcard entry for NSW to dominating every heat, bringing home the Australian Over-60s Longboard Championship title! And just days later? She was back in the water coaching women at our Surf Getaways Surf Clinics, embodying the joy, humility and dedication that make her such a special part of our team.
A Retreat That Balances Surf, Soul and Style
Your base for the week is Hotel Indigo Seminyak, a stylish sanctuary blending modern luxury with Balinese soul. Each day flows seamlessly from guided surf sessions to rejuvenating yoga and even an in-room massage. When you’re not in the waves, there’s plenty of time to explore Seminyak’s vibrant scene—think artisan boutiques, cafés and relaxed beach bars.
Meals are as much a highlight as the surf, with daily breakfasts and lunches, plus a welcome dinner, a midweek gathering and a final night sunset celebration, all included in the price.
