Summit Itinerary
Day 1: Welcome to South Dakota & Opening Mixer
Arrive at Rapid City Regional Airport and take your pre-arranged group transfer to Custer — a scenic 50-minute to 1-hour drive into the heart of the Black Hills. Upon arrival, check in to the Holiday Inn Suites and take some time to settle in, refresh or explore the local surroundings before the program begins.
In the evening, connect with fellow The Hero Club members at a relaxed Welcome Mixer, hosted in conjunction with the C-SUITE NETWORK™ Thought Council. This cocktail-style gathering is your first opportunity to meet the group, enjoy light refreshments and ease into the Summit experience. It’s informal, welcoming and designed to spark meaningful conversation.

Day 2: Leadership, Insight & Cultural Immersion
Start your day with breakfast at the hotel before transferring to the iconic Crazy Horse Memorial — the setting for a powerful day of leadership, insight and cultural immersion.
The morning opens with expert-led The Hero Club sessions, featuring high-impact discussions on purpose, legacy, and long-term impact. You'll also hear from a high-profile local guest speaker, offering a unique perspective on values-led leadership rooted in community and vision.
After a relaxed group lunch on-site, you'll take part in a once-in-a-lifetime cultural experience — a rare opportunity that very few people will ever access. This immersive session brings you closer to the stories, traditions, and spirit of the people behind the Crazy Horse Memorial.
The experience continues with a guided tour of the Crazy Horse Arm, an exclusive part of the monument not open to the public. Standing at the base of this monumental sculpture offers an unmatched perspective on the vision, scale, and meaning behind it.
Following the tour, return for an afternoon The Hero Club session, designed to help you integrate the day’s insights and translate them into meaningful leadership impact.

Day 3: Exploration, Perspective & Lasting Impact
Start your morning with breakfast at the hotel before joining a casual The Hero Club session and guided networking experience — a space to connect more deeply with fellow members, share takeaways, and reflect on your personal leadership journey.
Mid-morning, we’ll depart for a scenic half-day excursion through some of the most iconic landscapes in the Black Hills. The experience begins with a visit to Mt. Rushmore, followed by a guided drive through the Custer State Park Wildlife Loop, where you’ll have the chance to spot bison, elk, and other native wildlife in their natural surroundings.
Pause for a picnic-style lunch in the great outdoors before returning via the stunning Sylvan Lake, one of the region’s most picturesque and peaceful spots.
Back at the hotel, take time to rest and refresh before the evening’s formal farewell dinner — a chance to celebrate the connections you’ve made and the legacy you’re continuing to build.

Can I bring a guest with me?

What Airport should I fly into?
Rapid City Regional Airport (RAP) is the nearest airport to Custer, South Dakota. Group transfers to and from this airport are included at scheduled times as part of your summit package.
Are airfares included?
