Frequently asked questions
Is this retreat just for really good surfers?
Not at all. This retreat is designed for all levels — from complete beginners through to intermediate surfers. Whether you’re catching your very first wave or looking to build confidence and refine your skills, you’ll be supported by our champion coaches, in a small-group setting that’s encouraging and tailored to you.
Do I need to bring my own surfboard?
No need — we provide beginner-friendly boards and have options available for intermediates too. If you prefer to bring your own board, you’re more than welcome, but it isn’t required. Our team makes sure you have the right equipment to feel safe and confident in the waves.
Which airlines allow surfboards to Denpasar (Bali) Airport?
Most major airlines allow surfboards as checked baggage, usually as part of your standard luggage allowance. Carriers such as Qantas, Virgin Australia and Singapore Airlines generally permit boards up to around 9 feet, but policies vary. We always recommend checking with your airline directly.
What’s the accommodation like?
You’ll be staying at a 5-star beachfront sanctuary in Seminyak, just steps from the ocean. The hotel blends contemporary luxury with Balinese charm — think lush gardens, tranquil pools, spa facilities and beautifully designed rooms that offer both comfort and style. It’s the perfect base to restore after time in the surf.
